At Motherland Stores, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality Afro-Caribbean products and fresh produce. We understand that occasionally, you may need to return an item. Our return policy is designed to make the process as smooth as possible. Please take a moment to review our guidelines below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

a. Non-Perishable Products:

• We accept returns within 14 days of the purchase date.
• Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
• To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@motherlandstores.co.uk.

b. Fresh Produce:

• Due to the nature of fresh produce, we can only accept returns within 24 hours of delivery.
• Items must be in their original packaging and show no signs of spoilage.
• To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@motherlandstores.co.uk with accompanying photographs of the product.

2. Return Process

• Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team at  info@motherlandstores.co.uk with your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return.
• Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
• Packaging: Ensure the items are securely packed, and include a copy of the packing slip or order confirmation inside the package.
• Return Shipment: Ship the return items to the address provided in the return authorization.
• Refund/Replacement: Upon receiving the returned items, we will inspect them. If they meet our return policy criteria, we will process a refund to your original payment method or provide a replacement, as per your preference.

3. Exceptions

• Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with accompanying photographs, and we will arrange for a replacement or refund.
• Perishable Items: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for items that have exceeded their shelf life or have been improperly stored.
